Thank you for your thoughtful kindness during my recovery from the car accident. Your card lifted my spirit.
The good news is that I have progressed from a cast to a walking boot to now no support. I continue to walk cautiously, but it has been wonderful to get on my feet again and enjoy the freedom of mobility.
The accident occurred last August when I was driving to the grocery store. While having a heart attack, an elderly woman accidentally stepped on her gas pedal and hit the right side of my car. I spun around a couple of times before stopping, resulting in a broken ankle and several fractured ribs.
Prayer did sustain me through a painful recovery. I truly believe that prayer can change the balance of love in the universe. I experienced your prayers through peace in my soul during this healing process and kindness from the caregivers in the hospital and during rehab. That affection carried me through this stressful time.
